At the close of its July 2010 year end Close Leasing had written £100 million worth of business in the year and still remains inundated with new business proposals.
This sees us in a position once again to expand our regional sales team. Martin Stanley joins us as Regional Sales Director for the South; Martin has many years' knowledge and experience in the industry, most recently with Five Arrows Leasing.
Richard Ellison also joins us from Barclays Asset Finance where he was handling middle to large ticket Global Transactions.
In May 2010 we completed the funding of our first Corporate Jet for just over £17 million.
As we move into our new financial year we are looking to finalise some larger deals in the waste recycling and renewable energy market. We would expect at least two transactions of circa £17 million each should drawdown over the next six months.
September sees us aiming for our "Investors in People Award" we will keep you updated as and when we have the results.
